Ingredients

  • 250g Protein Plate Plant Based Beef Strips (available in the chilled plant-based section at Woolworths)

  • 1 packet microwave white rice

  • 1 Spring onion thinly sliced

 

Sticky Sauce:

  • ¼ cup Soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Vegan Mushroom Oyster sauce

  • ⅓ cup Brown sugar 

  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds

  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Shaoxing Wine

Serves: 2

 Method

  • STEP 1

    In a large fry pan over medium heat add 2 tbsp olive oil and cook the Protein Plate Plant Based Beef Strips for 3-5 mins until brown.

  • STEP 2

    Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, shaoxing wine and brown sugar. Add to pan and let it simmer for 1 minute.

  • STEP 3

    Heat white rice in the microwave for 90 seconds.

  • STEP 4

    On a plate, put rice and beef and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion.
