Beef Free Strips
Chow Mein Noodles

Ingredients

  • 250g Protein plate beef free strips (available in the chilled plant-based section at Woolworths)

  • 1 cup Cabbage

  • 1 Carrot

  • ½ cup Bean sprout

  • 1 Spring onion thinly sliced

  • 440g Thin Hokkien Wok Ready Noodles

  • 32g Chow Mein Base

  • 250ml (1 cup) boiling water

Serves: 2

 Method

  • STEP 1

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or large fry pan over high heat.

  • STEP 2

    Add garlic and fry until golden brown before adding Protein Plate Beef Strips and frying for 3-5 minutes until brown’

  • STEP 3

    Shred cabbage, grate carrots and toss into pan.
    Simmer for 2 minutes or until the cabbage is wilted.

  • STEP 4

    Next add your water and chow mein base and stir through until sauce thickens before adding noodles then stir through

  • STEP 5

    Finally, add spring onion and bean sprouts and simmer until sprouts wilt
